POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team played well in a 3-0 defeat to 5-time regional champion Clarkson University. Freshman
Cara Simplicio led the Lakers with seven kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both offenses were clicking early with Clarkson notching 16 kills and Oswego 13 in the opening set.
- In the second set, the Lakers were in control the whole way until a late 4-0 run behind Clarkson's Isabelle Crow helped the hosts to a 2-0 set lead.
- It was all Golden Knights in the final stanza with a 13-3 advantage in kills.
- Senior Skylar Bechard had a match-high 17 digs for Oswego and junior McKenna Corbin had 15 assists.
