OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team defeated the 'Roos of SUNY Canton in the morning before suffering a 3-0 sweep at the hands of the Cardinal of St. John Fisher College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Match 1 – SUNY Canton

• On offense, junior Emma Fiorentine paced the Lakers with eight kills on 13 swings.
• Junior McKenna Corbin and freshman Cara Simplicio each had six aces for Oswego.
• Middle hitter Georgia Farry and outside hitter Madison Gordon each had four kills.
• Corbin led the Lakers with 10 assists with sophomore Nyah Dias recording five of her own along with three digs.

Match 2 – St. John Fisher

• The first was back and forth with Oswego tying the score at 21 on a Farry block.
• A pair of kills and Laker errors would give the set to the visitors.
• The Cardinals recorded 30 kills to Oswego's 17 in the final two sets to cruise to the sweep.
• Fiorentine again paced the Lakers with seven kills while senior Skylar Bechard had nine digs.
• Corbin was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the event.
