WILKES-BARRE, P.A. – The Oswego State Women's soccer team was defeated by the Monarchs of King's College (PA) 4-1.
Liz Myers continues her goal tear, scoring three in the Lakers past two games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, Oswego and Kings were back and forth until senior Liz Myers scored her third goal in three games giving the Lakers the 1-0 advantage.
- The goal was assisted by Emma Rechtorovic.
- Just over ten minutes later the King's knotted the game at one.
- At the 38:13 mark, King's took the lead, where they didn't look back.
- Halftime shots were 10-9 in favor of King's.
- 22 minutes into the second half the Monarchs struck again, giving them a two-goal lead.
- King's scored their final goal with just under four minutes remaining in the contest.
- Oswego lead in shots throughout the match 19-18.
- Oswego nearly doubled the Monarchs in shots on goal (13-7).

Oswego will host their first SUNYAC game against the Cardinals of Plattsburgh State at 4:00 p.m. on September 24.
