HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, the Lakers and Bears both had opportunities to score, the first of the game coming from Potsdam just a minute into the contest.
- The offensive pressure was hand-in-hand throughout for both teams.
- Oswego played great defensively, as they successfully defended eight corner kicks.
- Liz Myers and Katie Delgrosso accounted for two-thirds of the Lakers shots, with 10 combined.
- Luigina Serrao had grit on the attack for Oswego in her 85 minutes played, causing a plethora of turnovers and creating many offensive opportunities. Â
- Graisa Madden recorded three shots in the contest, two of which were on goal.
- Haley Muehl tied her season and career-high in saves (7), which was set yesterday against the Cardinals of Plattsburgh.
- Muehl also recorded her third shutout of the year.
- Also recording minutes for the Lakers was Sara Marinaro (47), Vanessa Flint (41), Emily Applegate (22), Grace Hansen (13), Jackie Marquardt (8) and Gabriella Martinez (4).
