KEUKA, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's soccer team defeated the Keuka Wolves by a score of 2-1. Senior Graisa Madden and Sophomore Sara Marinaro led the Lakers to victory, both with a goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Keuka started the game on the offensive attack, scoring just 41 seconds in.
• Oswego came back at the Wolves, owning the next four straight shots. Madden with two and Katie Delgrosso with two.
• The next 15 minutes were scoreless, until Marinaro netted Oswego's first of the game.
• The goal was assisted by Maggie Riordan, extending her point streak to two games.
• As the horn blew at half, the score remained 1-1.
• The Lakers and Wolves went back-and-forth on offense throughout the second half, ultimately both defenses prevailed, shutting down any chances.
• After a corner kick for Oswego, just 30 seconds later Keuka was handed a yellow card.
• Madden at the 83:37 mark, was granted a penalty kick, she scored her second goal of the year.
• With a total of 29:48 played, with only 53 ticks remaining, Taylor Gabriel saved the final shot of the contest keeping her team in the lead.
