Alyx Sperling continues her strong singles play from last Spring with a tie-breaker victory at third singles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals swept the doubles action, winning 8-3, 8-1, and 8-2 across the three tiers.
- Miryam Makutonin was edged at first singles by scores of 6-3, 6-4 and Jenna Wilson fell at love at second singles.
- Sperling split the first two sets 6-4 and 4-6 before winning 1-0 (10-2) in the tie-breaker.
- Debora Win came out strong with a 6-3 win in the opening set before suffering a 6-0 setback in the second.
- Undeterred, she took the deciding points 10-6 to earn the point for the team.
- At fifth singles, freshman Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou was defeated 6-3, 6-3 and Mattie Wallace suffered a 0-6, 1-6 setback.
