- Plattsburgh opened the contest with the opening eight points before Oswego closed the first quarter with the final four.
- Halfway through the second quarter, Plattsburgh began hitting shots from deep during a 13-4 run and led 27-13 at the break.
- Both teams' offenses got on track in the third quarter with Oswego scoring 17 points, while the Cardinals poured in 22.
- Plattsburgh pulled away in the fourth quarter with a 24-13 edge in points.
