OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's basketball team forced 22 turnovers and held Geneseo to 32% shooting, but a key 13-0 Knights run helped the visitors to a 49-36 victory over the Lakers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers and Knights were close at 17-13 through the early part of the second quarter behind five points from sophomore Chastin Giles.
- Geneseo would go on a 13-0 run in the final 5:14 of the half by shooting 36.7% from the field and holding the Lakers to 17.1%.
- Freshman Logan Nyemchek scored four points and assisted on a Shania Iglesias three as Oswego closed the lead back to 32-20 five minutes into the third quarter.
- Oswego would have a 13-9 edge in points during the quarter.
- A Giles three-pointer would close the game to 43-35 with six minutes left in the contest, but Geneseo would close it out from there.
- Iglesias led the Lakers with nine points, Giles had eight and Nyemchek finished with six.
- Senior Danielle Caivana led the team with nine rebounds and freshman Elaina Johnson had eight.
