PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team scored the opening goal of the contest but No. 2 Plattsburgh came from behind for the second straight contest in winning 4-1 in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ashlyn McGrath put the Lakers on top just 2:27 into the game when a delayed penalty gave Oswego a 6-5 edge in skaters.
- Plattsburgh tied the contest six and a half minutes later on an even-strength goal.
- The Cardinals only had two power-play chances in the game, but used one for a goal in the second period and added another late in the frame.
- Four minutes into the third period, they scored their fourth on an even-strength opportunity.
- The Lakers had a 36-26 edge in faceoffs while Plattsburgh held a 34-26 advantage in shots-on-goal.
- Oswego's power play unit came into the contest ranked tops in the nation, but was held to an uncharacteristic 0-for-5 in the contest.
- Sophomore Joanna Hiebert made 30 save for the Lakers in net.
