OSWEGO, N.Y. – Sophomore
Jeremiah Sparks had 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting, including three of four from distance to lead the Oswego State men's basketball team to an 86-58 win over Oneonta to extend the team's winning streak to 14 straight games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior Devin Sparks and senior Jamal Achille scored 12 combined points in the opening five minutes to help Oswego to a 12-5 lead.
- The Lakers extended to a 30-15 lead with six minutes left in the opening half behind seven points from senior Christian Simmons.
- Five more layups and a free throw had Oswego on top by a 41-22 score at the break.
- Sparks began the second half with 16 points and senior Brendan Mulson chipped in four as the lead ballooned to 62-36 within the opening eight minutes.
- The Oswego reserves closed out the game in the final five minutes to secure the win.
- Simmons ended with 16 points and Green with 10 points and nine rebounds.
- Oswego doubled-up Oneonta in the paint by a 42-20 margin and outshot them 49.2% to 33.8%.

The Lakers battle New Paltz at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Max Ziel Gymnasium. The Hawks enter the contest sitting in second in the SUNYAC with an 8-3 conference mark.
