OSWEGO, N.Y. – Behind 20 points from junior
Devin Green and a well-executed team defense, the Oswego State men's basketball team downed St. Lawrence by a 74-60 score to improve their season record to 10-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams were close in the first four minutes with St. Lawrence up 8-7 and Kaleb Cook scoring the first seven points for the Lakers.
- Oswego went on a 10-0 run with five different players scoring over the next four minutes.
- The Saints closed the game back to 22-18 before a 9-1 run spurred by threes from Jeremiah Sparks and Brendan Mulson put Oswego back in control with just under four minutes remaining in the half.
- Each team scored seven points for a 38-26 Laker lead heading into the half.
- Oswego opened the second half on a 13-5 run behind a pair of threes from Green and one from Sparks to extend the lead to 20 at 51-31 with 15:51 remaining.
- The Saints made an 11-0 run to close the game back to 51-42 but Green answered with a bucket from deep to end the run.
- By three minutes left in the contest, a Julien Crittendon layup put Oswego back up by 20 at 72-52 and the Lakers closed it out from there.
- Green added eight rebounds, six assists and five steals to his stat line.
- Cook finished with 16 while Sparks and Crittendon finished with 11 points each.
- Junior Jamal Achille came off the bench for six rebounds and four points while Mulson had six points and five rebounds.
- Oswego outrebounded the Saints by a 38-22 margin and had a 12-5 edge in steals.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers take on Buffalo State at 7:30 p.m. on January 11 on the road. Oswego State won the first contest against the Bengals on December 3 by a 79-63 score.
