ITHACA, N.Y. – The Lakers traveled out to Ithaca for their 2-day tournament hosted by the Bombers. The Lakers finished in 6th place in the second day of the tournament. Many newcomers showed what they had to offer while veterans of the wrestling team also took things into their own hands, continuing where they finished last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 125-pound division, Michael Santore took fifth place overall with a win by decision (3-2) in the fifth place match.
- At the 149-pound weight class, Tyler Rossini took second place overall, falling by decision (7-1) in the weight class title match.
- Charlie Grygas picked up right where he left off last season in winning the 174-pound weight class by decision 9-5 over Cooper Fleming of Castleton.
- Bryce Smith took the second-place podium stand in the 184-pound weight class. Smith was defeated in the 1st place match by fall at 2:42.
- Rossini finished with 18 team points, Grygas added 17 and Smith scored 16 for the Lakers.
- Santore (9 points), John Vicario (6 points), and Brett Rosenberg (5 points) were the next highest scorers for Oswego during the Invitational.

The Lakers will be hosting the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles on November 13th at 12:00PM.
