OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Basketball team fell to the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles in a tight matchup that saw Devin Green lead the Lakers in scoring.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego trailed Brockport 13-7 just over 10 minutes into the contest, but went on a 10-0 run to take a 17-13 lead with five minutes remaining in the first half.

The Lakers trailed at the end of the first half, 28-25.

Sean Edwards led Oswego in the first half with six points.

The second half started with both teams swapping the lead back and forth.

Oswego shot the ball much more efficiently in the first ten minutes of the second half, going 50% from the field.

Devin Green had 11 points with ten minutes remaining, and Joey Rowback had eight.

Brockport seized a six-point lead with about six minutes left, and coming out of a Laker timeout, Jamal Achille hit a layup to cut the Oswego deficit to four.

That score would wind up being the last score for either team until about 90 seconds remaining in the game, when the Brockport lead again began to grow.

Devin Green ended the game with 11 points, although the scoring was pretty even throughout the entire Laker roster.

The Lakers shot 25.7% from the field, and 18.5% from three point range.

The Lakers had more offensive rebounds, recording 16 to Brockport's ten.

Oswego also had more fast break points than Brockport, outsourcing them on the break 10-7.

The men will travel to Buffalo to face the Buffalo State Bengals on December 3, and look to get back in the win column against a team that has lost two games in a row.
