OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State swimming & diving teams hosted the Brockport Golden Eagles this afternoon. The Men were able to get the win over Brockport, while the women fell short to the Golden Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Men were able to take second and third place in the 200 yard medley relay. In second place was Zachary Brown, William Sterling, Evan Cresanti, and Jack Olsian with a time of 1:44:55. In third place was Ryan Murphy, Nathan Ratta Vine, Lucas McGarry, and Vincent Mullen with a time of 1:49:16. 

• Emily Lotito was able to take first place in the Women's 1000 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 11:59:74. 

• The Men were able to secure first, second, and fifth in the 1000 yard freestyle. Matthew Seyse finished with a time of 11:44:95, Ryan Liedka finished with a time of 11:55:07, and Jason Ruiz finished with a time of 14:45:74.  

• Erick Zizic, Ryan Liedka, and Alex Jenks were able to second, third, and fourth place in the Men's 200 yard freestyle. Zizic finished with a time of 1:55:69, Liedka finished with a time of 2:02:54, and Jenks finished with a time of 2:02:72.

• Alexia Lemus took second place in the Women's 50 yard backstroke with a time of 31:20.

• The Oswego Men's team took first, third, and fifth in the 50 yard backstroke. Zachary Brown finished with a time of 25:42, Ryan Murphy finished with a time of 30:31, and Jason Ruiz finished with a time of 42:16.

• Lotito was able to win her second event in the ninth event on schedule, with a time of 34:06. 

• Olsian was able to take first in the 14th event on schedule, finishing with a time of 22:82. Matt Seyse took second in the event, finishing with a time of 22:92. 

• Seyse won the 16th event on schedule, with a time of 51:89. Jack Olsian and Alexander Jenks took second and third behind Seyse.

• Lotito took first in the 19th event, winning her third event of the afternoon. Lotito finished with a time of 1:14:91.

• Zachary Brown won the 20th event for the men, finishing with a time of 59:36. 

• Raymond Paull took the 24th event for the Lakers, with a time of 25:18.

• Brown won his second event of the afternoon in the 100 yard IM, finishing with a time of 56:91. 

• The Men were able to take first and second in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Taking first with a time of 1:32:48 was Olsian, Seyse, Sterling, and Paull. Second place with a time of 1:34:67 was Jenks, Mullen, Murphy, and Liedka.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Lakers travel to Buffalo State for their next matchup, this is set to take place on January 14th. .
