Day 1 Results
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's and women's swimming & diving programs kicked off action at the 2022 State University of New York Athletic Conference Championship with three events on the day. The men sit in fifth after the opening day and the women are in sixth.
THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening event, the men's 800-yard freestyle relay team of Erick Zizic, Matthew Seyse, Matt Rolph and Nate Einstein shaved nearly 15 seconds off their seed time to finish in fifth in 7:17.91 and score 28 team points.
- On the boards, senior Eric Dzierzgowski bettered his preliminary score with a finals mark of 260.60 to finish in fourteenth and nab three points.
- The women's 800-yard freestyle relay team of Grace Parente, Twyla Nastasia, Alexia Lemus and Keaton Maring took sixth and 26 team points with a time of 8:14.12, an eleven and a half second improvement on their seed time.
