OSWEGO, N.Y. – Senior
Danielle Caivana had 22 points but the Plattsburgh Cardinals pulled away down the home stretch for a 60-53 victory in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Already a 1,000-point scorer in college, it was the fifth time this season Caivana has broken the 20-point mark this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego held a 12-11 lead after the opening quarter with Caivana hitting a pair of threes to lead the way.
- Plattsburgh went on an 11-5 run in the second quarter and took a 24-21 lead into the break.
- Inside layups by Caivana and junior Logan Castiglione put the Lakers back on top with 1:20 left to go in the third frame at 35-33.
- The Cardinals finished the quarter with a pair of buckets to lead 37-35 heading into the fourth quarter.
- It was a 47-44 lead for Oswego with four minutes to play in the game after another pair of three pointers from Caivana and free throws from Laila Elor, Elaina Johnson and Shania Iglesias.
- A 12-0 run from Plattsburgh over the next three minutes would seal the game.
- Iglesias finished with 14 points while freshmen Diamond Pickett and Johnson had 12 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
- Oswego grabbed 53 rebounds to just 42 for the Cardinals.
