MORRISVILLE, NY – The Oswego State Men's Lacrosse team traveled to SUNY Morrisville this evening and defeated the Mustangs in a non-conference matchup 10-7. Senior Weston Gray led the Lakers on the night, scoring four goals to raise his season total to seven, he also added an assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED
1st Quarter
- Morrisville got the early hand, scoring three straight goals to start off the first frame.
- To the credit of Gavin Elston, Oswego would get on the scoreboard shortly after Morrisville's third, narrowing the score to 3-1.
- Junior Aiden Kenyon recorded eight saves in the first quarter, after facing 11 shots on goal
2nd Quarter
- The second stanza was all Oswego, as they peppered 14 shots en route to a three-goal quarter.
- At 12:58, Junior Jack Delany tallied his first goal of the game with an assist from Ryan Eccles to make it a 3-2 game.
- With 3:09 remaining, Delany added another goal to the ledger, this time unassisted, to knot up the game at three a-piece.
- One minute later, Gray found the back of the net to put up his first points of the game and push the Lakers ahead 4-3.
- Freshman Corey O'Connor added an assist on the goal.
3rd Quarter
- At 11:53, Gray set up Sophomore Liam Sexton for his first goal of the season, extending the lead to 5-3.
- Two more Gray goals paired with a Morrisville goal would take the score to 7-4 at the end of the quarter.
- Oswego added 11 ground balls in the quarter, and out-shot Morrisville 11-6.
4th Quarter
- Four minutes into the final quarter, Elston scored his second goal of the game with Eccles tallying his second assist, putting the Lakers up 8-4.
- Devon Gerhardt extended Oswego's lead to 9-4, scoring his third goal of the season thanks to Eccles' third assist of the game.
- The Mustangs would make a small push, scoring three goals to narrow the Laker lead, 9-7.
- The final dagger was another goal off the stick of Gray, putting an end to his five-point night.

Oswego State will travel for a 5:30 p.m. non-conference matchup on Wednesday, March 16 versus St. Joseph's College.
