AUBURNDALE, FL – The Oswego State Baseball team fell to previously No. 15 ranked Southern Maine. The Lakers and Huskies were tied until the fifth inning at five a piece.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the first inning the score was 2-0 in favor of the Huskies.
- Oswego came back in the second inning, taking the 3-2 lead.
- CJ McCarthy drove in the first Oswego run after Julian Drew and Jacob Levine singled to left field. Drew scored from second on the McCarthy single.
- Blake Van Dreason collected an RBI to tie the game at two a Levine scored.
- Anthony Barone reached on a fielder's choice, recording an RBI as McCarthy scored, giving the Lakers the 3-2 lead.
- Ryan Enos started the third inning with a single down the left field line, followed by a double from Kyle Lauria to right field.
- Enos scored on a groundout to shortstop, bringing the lead to 4-2.
- The Huskies added two in the bottom of the third frame, tying the contest at four.
- After a 1,2,3 inning for the Huskies in the top of the fourth inning, they added a run off of a sacrifice fly to gain back the lead.
- With Paul Tammaro walking in the bottom of the fifth inning, Lauria roped a double to right center, scoring Tammaro, tying the game for the third time.
- In the bottom of the fifth inning the Huskies loaded the bases with three consecutive walks drawn.
- With the bases loaded, the Lakers got a force out at home after a grounder went to third.
- The Huskies scored their sixth run on a wild pitch that resulted in a walk.
- After the walk, two consecutive batters were hit by a pitch, giving the Huskies the 8-5 lead.
- The damage was not done as Southern Maine scored three more off of a double to right field.
- One more run came across the plate for the Huskies in the inning, giving them the 12-5 lead.
- In the bottom of the sixth inning the Huskies added two more.
- Southern Maine added their final run of the contest in the bottom of the eighth inning, earning the ten-run victory.

Oswego State will finish their Florida trip with the No. 5 ranked Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays at 9:00a.m. tomorrow.
