Wiley Nets Four in Loss at Clarkson

POTSDAM, N.Y. – Junior Sela Wiley scored four goals but the Oswego State Women's Lacrosse team fell behind early in an 18-9 loss on the road at Clarkson University.  Freshman Sarah Kamide hit double digits in saves for the second consecutive game with 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Q1
  • Just 31 seconds in, Clarkson opened the scoring on a woman-up opportunity.
  • The Lakers' Madison Davis knotted the board at the 10:10 mark on a free-position shot.
  • At 7:27 and 5:20, Clarkson added a couple of goals to create a 3-1 lead.
  • At 4:57 Julia Quirk, added the Lakers second goal from a free position shot, cutting the lead to one.
  • The Golden Knights added another pair at the end of the first quarter to take the 5-2 lead going into the second.

  • Clarkson came out in the second half ready to go as they scored four goals in a row ranging from 13:28-6:54 of the second quarter.
  • Wiley added another Laker tally at the 6:04 mark, bringing Oswego within six.
