OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Lacrosse team came back from an 8-4 halftime deficit to lead 10-9 in the final three minutes, but the Utica Pioneers ground out the 11-10 win in overtime. Sophomore
Shae McConnell led all scorers with four goals and two assists.

Q1
- The Lakers opened up scoring within a minute into the game with a goal from sophomore Julia Quirk.
- Oswego's lead would not last long as Utica immediately responded with a goal of their own to tie the game.
- Utica scored four consecutive goals over the next 10 minutes to take a 5-1 lead.
- Junior Sela Wiley scored again to give the Lakers a three goal deficit with a few seconds left in the quarter.
Q2
- Quirk added to her goal count with 11:00 on the clock off of a clear attempt.
- About two minutes later, junior Madison Davis scored to bring the Lakers within one at 5-4.
- Utica responded with three goals of their own, ending a two goal run by Oswego to go up 8-4 at the half.

- Oswego wins the initial draw control behind Quirk, but their shot at victory is wide and the Pioneers gain possession.
- With a player off due to penalty, Utica scored the game-winner right off of a clear attempt in sudden death.
- There was some controversy as Utica had seven players in the offensive zone during the goal, despite having the player off, but the officials refused to disallow the tally.
Final Stats
Wiley finished with 10 caused turnovers and nine ground balls in the contest.
Freshman
Sarah Kamide made nine saves for the Lakers in goal.
Utica had a 17-7 edge in draw controls but were offset by a 21-7 Laker advantage in caused turnovers.
