OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Lacrosse team displayed a dominant performance against the Fredonia Blue Devils. Junior Sela Wiley and sophomore Shae McConnell each poured in five goals, as the Lakers ran away with this one winning 19-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Q1

• Oswego wasted no time as Sela Wiley scores the opening goal in nine seconds
• The Lakers' Julia Quirk capitalized off of a Fredonia turnover to go up 2-0 with 10:39 on the clock
• Fredonia responded with two goals of their own within three minutes, score tied 2-2 with 7:20 left
• Oswego gained the draw control to set up a Shae McConnell goal to regain the lead
• The Lakers gained a free position shot and Isabella Lembo converted to put them 4-2 with 6:27 remaining 
• Within nine seconds Wiley scored the last two goals of the quarter to stretch the lead to 6-2 with 2:34 left to play 

Q2

• McConnell opened up scoring in the quarter to give the Lakers a five goal lead
• With 12:09 left to play Wiley scored her fourth goal of the game, Oswego ahead 8-2 
• Less than a minute later McConnell completed her hat trick for the game
• The remaining 11 minutes of the quarter were scoreless as the Lakers ended the half up 9-2

• Logan Castigilone opened up scoring two minutes into the quarter, Lakers ahead 10-3.
• McConnell came back with 12:50 on the clock and scored her fourth goal of the game.
• Madison Davis scored off of a successful clear attempt to push the lead to 12-2 with 10:10 left to play.
• Fredonia ended their goal drought with 7:14 on the clock, Lakers ahead 12-3. 
• Castiglione skipped by defenders and scored her second goal of the game with 5:17 remaining.
• Davis' assist to Lembo extended the Lakers lead to 14-3 as three minutes remained in the quarter.
• McConnell closed out quarter as she scored her fifth goal of the game. 

Q4

• With 13:48 to play, Fredonia scored a goal to bring them within 11 goals of Oswego.
• Davis answered Fredonia's goal with her own with 9:08  left on the clock, the Lakers were ahead 16-4.
• Wiley added to her tally and scored her fifth goal of the game.
• Oswego's Madison Green pushed the lead to 18-4 with 2:42 left to play. 
• Katie Fierro concluded the game with a goal as the clock only showed 28 seconds, the Lakers won 19-4.
