PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State baseball team took on Plattsburgh State in a double header this afternoon. Oswego was able to earn both wins in a dominant performance in both. The first game saw Oswego showcase their impressive offense, getting a total of 22 hits and winning 19-6. The second game was more of the same, as a dominant Oswego offense was able to pull out an 8-2 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- Oswego opened the game firing, getting off to a three run start as Paul Tammaro, Ryan Enos, and Kyle Lauria all crossed home plate.
- With two runners on base, Tishawn Featherstone hit a homer to left field to extend Oswego's first inning lead to 6-0.
- In the second inning, Lauria hit a double to bring in Enos for the score.
- Later, Lauria scored after a Lukas Olsson single to third base, Lakers lead 8-0.
- The Lakers scored three more runs in the third inning; Featherstone, Lauria, and Greg Carullo all scored.
- CJ McCarthy hit a single in the top of the fifth inning to bring in Lauria for another run.
- Plattsburgh scored in the bottom of the fifth inning to bring the Lakers lead to 12-1.
- The Lakers offense turned up the intensity in the sixth inning adding five more runs to their lead.
- Plattsburgh tried to mount a late comeback, scoring five runs in the seventh inning, bringing the contest to 17-6.
- The Lakers closed out their dominant performance putting two more runs on the scoreboard.
Game 2
- Plattsburgh got out to an early two run lead in the second inning
- Oswego's Julian Drew hit a single to left field, bringing in Tammaro for the score.
- The Lakers took control of the game in the fourth inning with the bases loaded by scoring three runs, the Lakers took the lead, 4-2
- Oswego ran away with it in the seventh inning, scoring four runs.
- Levine, Featherstone, Collin Williams, and Enos all crossed home plate in that inning.
- Kieran Finnegan added his 100th strikeout in this one, finishing the contest with ten total K's.
In the two games:
- Enos went 5-for-7 with five runs scored and six RBI's. Enos currently sits second in the nation in batting average, just behind Plattsburgh's Alex Komblau.
- Lauria went 7-for-10 with five runs scored and eight RBI's. This included going 5-for-5 in game one.
- Featherstone went 5-for-7 with five runs scored and four RBI's. Featherstone also had two homeruns in game one.
