PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Lacrosse team took down the Cardinals in a SUNYAC matchup this afternoon by a score of 19-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers had four different goal scorers in the first quarter. Corey O'Connor scored two along with Gavin Elston. Weston Gray, and Cameron Tallman both scored one.

In the first five minutes of the second quarter the Cardinals answered with two goals of their own, bringing the score to 6-2.

Ryan Eccles added his ninth of the season to bring their lead back to five goals.

The Lakers added four more in the second quarter. Garrett Petrelli added an assist on the Lakers' 10th goal scored by Gray.

Liam Sexton added the Lakers 12th goal in the third quarter, bringing their lead to nine (12-3).

Adding four more goals the Lakers' Jason Dongelowic added his fourth goal of the campaign, assisted by Eccles.

Max Broadman put an end to the Cardinals' two goal scoring streak at 5:59 of the fourth quarter, the score at this point was 17-7.

In just 48 seconds of play, Oswego added their final goals, resulting in a 19-7 victory for the Green and Gold.
