PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Lakers finished the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic with huge personal records all around. The Lakers had multiple athletes earn their way into Oswego State Track & Field history today, multiple qualified for regionals and SUNYAC championship events.

HOW IT HAPPENED
WT&F
- Ashleigh Lacy hit a massive personal record in the 100 meter dash, posting a second place finish out of 19 competitors in the prelims.
- Lacy finished with a time of 12.61 in the finals, this time is good enough to qualify her for the Regional Championships and also puts her second all time in the Oswego State record books. This was a 0.16 personal record for the Junior.
- This time is second fastest all time in Oswego State Laker history.
- Lacy finished in fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.77 seconds.
- Freshman Faith Coyle also hit a massive personal record today as she took first place out of 29 competitors in the 800 meter run event. Lacy posted a time of 2:20.93 This time qualifies her for the Regional Championships and puts her fifth all time on the Oswego State record books.
- Emily Blake continued the Laker trend in hitting personal records as she posted a fourth place in the 5000 Meter Run event. Blake crossed the line at 19:34.44, qualifying her for the SUNYAC Championships.
- The Lakers took second place in the 4x800 Meter Relay, Coyle, Rebecca Cropsey, Gretchen Dowd and Ellie Decker all competed in the event.
- Kayla Guerre finished sixth in the Women Long Jump event with a distance of 5.06 meters.
- Senior Lindsay Fluman concluded the Women Shot Put in third place with a finals distance of 10.45 meters.
- Fluman also posted a fifth place finish in the Women Discus Throw, throwing a distance of 33.06 meters. This distance was good for fourth all time in the Oswego State record books.
- Fluman continued her dominance in the throws as she finished fourth in the Women Hammer Throw event with a distance of 37.89 meters. This distance puts Fluman in the record book at the sixth position all time at Oswego State.
- Emily Gustafson threw a massive 31.96 meters in the javelin throw event, good enough to collect second place at the event. This distance in her first javelin event in her career puts her at fourth all time in Oswego State's record book.
MT&F
- Aidan Harrington crossed the line in third place in the 200 meter dash event. The junior posted a time of 22.76 seconds. This event had 36 participants.
- Jack Hickey earned a sixth place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.06.
- Nathan Couse finished the 10000 meter run in sixth place with a time of 33:29.40.
- Harrington also posted a huge personal record in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.86 seconds. This time was good enough for the first place finish and to qualify him for regionals.
- Chris Dorney, Hickey, Ousmane Diallo and Harrington aided the Lakers in a third place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:35.38.
- Michael Saavedra in the shot put event finished fifth with a distance of 12.10 meters.
- Saavedra also finished eighth in the discus throw with a distance of 34.63 meters.
