CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Lakers finished the CNY challenge this afternoon. The Lakers are looking to continue their momentum through the end of the season as they continue to improve.

Ashleigh Lacy finished fifth in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.93.

Lacy in the 200 Meter Dash finished in fourth place with a time of 26.98.

Faith Coyle concluded the 400 Meter Dash in third place with a time of 1:02.74.

Freshman Ellie decker finished the 800 Meter Run in eight with a time of 5:44.22

Lindsay Fluman finished her Day on the shot put in seventh place with a total distance of 10.05m.

Fluman also had herself a day in the Women Discus Throw with a best distance of 33.39m in the finals.

Abigail Conpropst and Fluman both finished in the top ten in the Hammer Throw event with distances of 34.56 for Conpropst and 39.25 for Fluman.

Aidan Harrington crossed the line in seventh position in the 200 meter dash event with a time of 11.82.

Harrington also participated in the 200 meter dash, finishing seventh again with a time of 23.58.

Jack Hickey and Harrington finished the 400 meter dash within a second of each other, finishing sixth for Harrington and seventh for Hickey.

Junior Christopher Dorney took home a fifth place finish in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 59.95.

Michael Saavedra threw the fourth best distance in the shot put today with a distance of 12.34 meters.

Saavedra was good enough for eighth place in the Discus throw with a distance of 33.26 meters.

The Lakers will travel to compete in the SUNYAC Championship event May 6th and 7th.
