OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's lacrosse team hosted SUNY Geneseo in a game that the Lakers were unable to come back after the Knights fast start.  Isabella Lembo scored two goals in this one but it wouldn't be enough. Geneseo won the game 17-6.

Q1

• Geneseo opened up the scoring for the game with 13:44 on the clock. 

• Geneseo added two more goals in the next two minutes to give them a 3-0 lead over Oswego.

• Julia Quirk opened up the scoring for Oswego after Madison Davis set her up.

• Geneseo scored off of a successful clear attempt with 10:18 remaining on the clock. 

• Lembo added to the Lakers lone goal with 4:35 left to play in the quarter, Lakers trail 4-2.

• Geneseo scored three goals within the last three minutes to end the quarter up 7-2. 

Q2

• Geneseo opened up the quarter on a three-goal scoring run. 

• Lembo scored her second goal of the game from a free position shot with 4:29 on the clock.

• Geneseo scored in the last minute of the half to take 11-3 lead.

• With 19 seconds left Shae McConnell assisted Logan Castiglione to bring Oswego within seven goals.

• Geneseo held Oswego scoreless throughout the quarter while scoring five goals of their own to extend their lead to 16-4.

• Madison Davis scored her first goal of the game off of a successful clear and Castiglione assisted.

• With 10:58 on the clock Geneseo extended their lead with a free position shot.  

• Oswego's McConnell scored the last goal of the game from a free position shot with 1:19 remaining.

• Geneseo walked away winning the game 17-6.
