OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Baseball team took on Fredonia in an offensive showcase. Oswego put 23 runs on the board and led from the first inning all the way to the ninth. Tishawn Fetherhurst recorded four RBIs, five runs, and three hits in the contest. Tim Schinto added three hits and three RBIs as well. Oswego was firing on all cylinders and won the game 23-8.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego scored six runs in the first inning as a Greg Carullo homer and a couple errors would help them get ahead.
- In the second inning Fredonia put up three runs to bring Oswego's lead to 6-3.
- The fourth inning began Oswego's effort to pull away from Fredonia in the contest.
- The Lakers scored four runs in the fourth inning as Frank Levanti, Brett Meyers, Joe McLaughlin, and Tishawn Featherstone all crossed home plate.
- The fifth inning was a repeat. Oswego added four more runs to make their lead 14-3.
- Jacob Levine's grand slam was responsible for all four runs.
- Oswego stretched their lead after Anthony Barone hit a sacrifice fly ball to bring in a run.
- Another sacrifice fly ball by Aidan Gallagher brought in a run.
- Fredonia ended their four inning scoreless streak by scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh.
- The Lakers showed one last moment of offensive brilliance by scoring seven runs in the eighth inning.
- A total of five hits and five RBIs were recorded by Oswego in that inning, Lakers led 23-4.
- Fredonia would close out the game scoring four more runs, but that wouldn't be enough. Lakers win 23-8.

The Lakers take on Fredonia in a doubleheader on Saturday, May 7th at Allegheny Limestone High School. The contests are set for 2PM and 4PM.
