OSWEGO, N.Y.  –  The Oswego State Women's Tennis team took their first victory of the 2022-23 campaign as they took down the Blue Devils with an 8-1 final match score.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Alyx Sperling and Angelina took first doubles by a score of 8-6. 

• Jenna Wilson and Emily Lyga took the second doubles victory by a score of 8-0, shutting out Fredonia. 

• Mattie Wallace and Debora Win took the third doubles victory by a match score of 8-1. 

• Llanos was victorious in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. 

• Emily Lyga in second singles went three sets, with a line score of 6-0, 0-6 and took the final set 10-7. 

• Sperling was on the winning end of her third singles match with the scores reading 6-2, 6-2. 

• Jenna Wilson dropped the fourth singles matchup by scores of 6-2 and 6-1. 

• Cara Campanie was victorious in fifth singles by identical set scores of 6-1. 

• Rafaela Dmitrikoponlou was also victorious in identical set scores of 6-0. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Lakers will stay right here in Oswego to take on the Golden Flyers on Nazareth on September 13 with a start time set for 4:00PM.
