CLINTON, NY – The Oswego State Women's Soccer team fell to a tough Continentals team this evening by a score of 4-1. A late goal from Brianna Winkler broke the shutout with less that nine minutes remaining in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the first shot went to the Lakers in the contest, Hamilton took control with the majority of the offensive possession.
- 13:01 into the match, the Continentals struck first.
- From here Hamilton kept the pressure on, dealing the next 15 shots in a row in the first half.
- Oswego was able to hold the damage to only one goal going into the second half of the contest.
- In the second half the Continentals continued their offensive pressure over the Lakers as they scored their second goal of the game just 6:23 into the second half.
- In the 61' and 63' the Lakers put the pressure on Hamilton, but were unable to break through with their opportunities.
- After the momentum from Oswego, Hamilton took it right back with two goals in just a matter of 2:15.
- Oswego did not take a liking to this as they showed fight by creating chances and forced Hamilton into mistakes as after two corner kicks in a row, Winkler broke through for Oswego, assisting the Laker goal was Gabriella Martinez.
- Perri Anderson completed the game with 10 saves.

Oswego State will return home to take on the Clarkson Golden Knights on Saturday, September 17 with a start time set for 3:30PM.
