HOUGTHON, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Tennis team took on the Highlanders of Houghton this afternoon and fell by a score of 7-2 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Angelina Llanos and Alyx Sperling fought in first doubles but ultimately fell 8-6.

Emily Lyga and Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou were victorious 8-6 in second doubles.

Emily Lussier and Debora Win were defeated in third doubles in the 8-1 decision.

Sperling took her second set in first singles but resulted in a 10-6 final in the tie-breaking set.

Llanos took the first singles spot in the contest, but ultimately fell in two straight sets.

Lyga won her second singles matchup in two straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.

Sperling fell in third singles, 6-2, 6-0.

Dimitrakopoulou battled in fourth singles back and forth but ultimately fell 7-5, 6-4.

Lussier took the loss in fifth singles 6-4, 6-1, fighting the entire match.

Win took the sixth singles position, falling in straight sets 6-4, 6-0.

The Lakers battled back in every match, but were unable to find their groove in this one, falling by a score of 7-2.
