OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Soccer took down the Golden Eagles of Brockport this evening, tallying their first SUNYAC win. Scoring the lone and game-winning goal for the Lakers was junior forward Luigina Serrao.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego started off strong offensively, putting four shots on goal within the first 20 minutes from Katie Delgrosso, Phyllis Reed, and Graisa Madden (2).

The rest of the half was all Brockport, as they rattled off eight total shots including four on goal.

Sophomore Perri Anderson saved all four shots on goal she faced.

At 57:08 in the second half, Lexie Thompson recorded her first point at Oswego by setting up Serrao for the games' lone goal.

Brockport continued to put shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net against Anderson.

With the shutout, Anderson increased her total to three and picked up her fifth win of the 2022 campaign.

Brockport outshot Oswego 12-10, but the Lakers' defense continues to be a force on the pitch.
