OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Soccer team defeated the Keuka Wolves this evening, moving their record to 6-3-1. Scoring the goals for the Lakers were Amber McDermott, Lexie Thompson, and Graisa Madden.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego started off slow offensively, putting 2 shots on goal within the first 30 minutes, both coming from Luigina Serrao.

Oswego finished off the first half landing 3 shots on goal with the 3rd coming with 11:10 remaining in the first half from Nicolette Joannou.

Keuka struggled offensively, landing only 2 shots on goal in the first half.

Sophomore Perri Anderson saved both shots on goal she faced.

Goals in the second half came at 8:06 by Amber McDermott (unassisted), 13:20 by Lexie Thompson (unassisted), 25:23 by Graisa Madden assisted by Phyllis Reed.

With the shutout, Anderson increased her total to four and picked up her sixth win of the 2022 campaign.

Oswego out-shot Keuka 16-3, while the Lakers' defense continues to create havoc for their opponents.

Thompson and McDermott both notched their first career goals as Lakers this evening.
