OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's and Women's swimming & diving team competed in a dual-meet against Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday. The women narrowly fell to the Redhawks, while the men defeated the team from Rochester.
Oswego honored their five outgoing seniors, Erick Zizic, Zachary Brown, Raymond Paull, Matthew Seyse and Vincent Mullen during the meet.
Zach Brown broke the school record in the Men's 100 Yard Individual Medley in his final home meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers won 20 of the 28 races, including the record-breaking performance by Brown.

Brown finished the Men 100 Yard IM with a time of 54.04, a new school record. Brown beat the second place finisher by almost nine seconds. Brown won two other races, showing off his breaststroke prowess in the Men 50 Yard (27.46) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (58.49).

Emily Lotito also won both the Women 50 Yard (34.62) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:15.02). Additionally, she won the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 11:52.27.

Matthew Seyse showed his strength in freestyle, winning three individual Men's Freestyle races, including the 50 Yard (22.62), 500 Yard (5:20.95), and 1000 Yard (10:59.86) events in his final home meet.

Raymond Paull performed well in his final home meet as well, winning the Men 50 Yard Butterfly (25.17), 100 Yard Butterfly (57.64), and 100 Yard Freestyle (51.25).

Maura Moochler won the Women 50 Yard Backstroke (30.61), and Fion Hon won the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:09.41). Hon also won the 50 Yard Butterfly (30.92).

Alexia Lemus won the Women 50 Yard Freestyle (26.93).

Alex Jenks won the Men 50 Yard Backstroke (28.57).

Moochler, Lotito, Abby Hinman, and Lemus won the Women 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:00.83.

Brown, Nathan Ratta Vine, Paull, and Jack Olsian won the Men 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:43.82.

Ryan Liedka, Ryan Murphy, Evan Cresanti, and Olsian won the Men 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:38.47.

Vincent Mullen finished second in the 1 Meter Dive with a score of 151.75 in his final home meet.

The Lakers will travel to Potsdam to face the Bears on January 28.
