OSWEGO, N.Y. - Five different Lakers hit double figures in scoring, led by newly minted 1,000-point scorer
Jeremiah Sparks' 27 points, as the Men's Basketball Team downed Plattsburgh by a score of 97-61. The win was Oswego's 13th-straight and moved them into sole possession of the top spot in the conference as rival Brockport dropped a contest to Geneseo this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals were hanging tough with Oswego in the first half, only trailing by two at 27-25 with 7:40 to go.
- Over the next five minutes though, the Lakers would go on a 19-6 run to pull away behind five points each from senior Devin Green and sophomore Joey Rowback.
- Plattsburgh shot 50.0% during the first half but were undone by seven three-pointers from the Lakers as the hosts led 52-33 at the break.
- Junior Cartier Bowman scored eight points in the opening five minutes of the second frame to push Oswego out to a 30-point lead (69-39).
- Behind 57.6% shooting in the second half, the Lakers would cruise to the win.
- Bowman (14 points, 12 rebounds) and Green (10 points, 10 rebounds) both ended with double-doubles.
- Sophomore Ahkee Anderson added 13 points and a team-leading six assists while Rowback chipped in 11 points off the bench.
