ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Led by
Faith Coyle's win in the 1,000-meter run and
Nathan Couse's victory in the 3,000-meter run, the Oswego State Track and Field Teams competed at the RIT January Friday Meet. Coyle won her race by over a second in a time of 3:12.29 while Couse was 15 seconds faster than the field in his distance.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Women
- Both Joy McClinton and Roxanne Barnes made the 60-meter dash final, with McClinton finishing in third.
- McClinton would score another top-eight finish in the 200-meter dash in 29.48 seconds.
- Cristina Gaskievicz was fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 11:10.69.
- Ellie Decker took sixth (of 15) in the mile run with a time of 5:48.23.
Men
- The men's 800-meter run saw three Lakers among the top five led by Matthew Pietzak's 2:04.74 and third-place finish.
- Thomas Mahunik was fourth in 2:04.77 and Couse fifth (2:04.92) among the 17 runners competing.
- A trio of Lakers earned top-10's in the men's 400-meter dash, led by Aidan Harrington's third (52.23).
- Teammates Matthew Broadnax (53.39) and Chris Dorney (53.60) were eighth and ninth, respectively.
- Harrington would earn second in the 200-meter dash while Broadnax was fifth and Dan Mars was seventh.
- Dairo Reyes took a third place in the men's 1,000-meter run in 2:52.89.
- Mars was tenth (of 23) in the 60-meter dash in 7.43 seconds while Alex Reyes finished in 7.61 seconds.
- Miguel Tineo Reyes finished in the top half of the field with an eleventh-place showing in the mile (4:50.39).
- Henry Rose added a top-10 in the 3,000-meter run, finishing seventh.
