OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Field Hockey team took down the visiting Golden Flyers ofNazareth University tonight. The final score was 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first quarter of the game, Oswego had four shots and two corners. The Lakers defenseheld strong, limiting Nazareth to one shot.
- Oswego's offense had four shot attempts and four corners in the second quarter before scoring their first goal of the game. Kaitlyn Jordan scored her first goal of the season and was assisted by Gabby Curtis.
- A dominating Oswego defense did not allow any shots.
- The Lakers were hot out of the gate after halftime. Kate McNally scored the second goal for Oswego with the assist from Erin Schaefer just over two minutes into the third quarter.
- The last quarter again saw the Lakers dominate in shots over the Golden Flyers 5-1.
- KY Phillips had a shutout in goal and had two saves.

The Lakers will travel to SUNY Brockport on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 AM to resume SUNYAC play.
