OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Volleyball team took on New Paltz at home this evening. They lost to the Hawks, snagging one of four sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- During the first two sets, the Lakers were short on necessary scoring runs to stay competitive.
- Oswego picked up the pace after errors by the Hawks tied up the score 8-8 in the third set. After leading for the majority of the set, New Paltz tied things up again at 18-18.
- Points rallied back and forth with an attack error by the Hawks and two kills by Sydney Chiffriller which gave the Lakers their last three points to take the set.
- Oswego was superior in blocks over New Paltz 4-1.
- The final set concluded 25-10.
- Cara Simplicio and Georgia Farry led with five kills each.
- Emily Zeisler had eight assists and Kaylee Troy totaled 12 digs.

Oswego State Volleyball will remain at home for their next contest against Oneonta on Saturday October 14th at 1:00 PM. This game will feature Senior Day.
