OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State Wrestling has announced their 2023-24 schedule this afternoon. The Lakers will have four home wrestling meets and ten days combined of away wrestling meets.
Oswego will initiate their season at the Two-Day Ithaca College Invitational on November 3rd at 3:00PM.
Oswego will then travel west on November 11th at 12:00PM to take on the Brockport Quad which will include Penn College and Niagara County Community College.
The Lakers will stay out West for a third meet in a row at RIT for the RIT Invitational on December 2nd starting at 9:00AM.
Oswego will then host their first home meet of the season on December 17th at 2:30PM against Lycoming College for a dual.
With a five-day stretch, the Lakers will travel to Ithaca for a Dual meet against the Bomber on January 7th at 12:00PM
On January 12th and 13th Oswego State Wrestling will take on the Budd White Division III Duals at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa.
RIT will travel to the shores of Lake Ontario on January 25th at 7:00PM for a dual in Max Ziel Gymnasium for Oswego's second home match of the season.
The Green and Gold will travel an hour or so south to take on the Cortland Quad meet that will include; Cortland, The College at New Jersey and Delaware Valley. This meet will take place on Saturday, February 3rd at 1:00PM.
The Lakers' third home dual will be against another Red Dragon squad in Oneonta. This dual will start at 7:00PM on Wednesday, February 7th. This will be the Lakers final home meet so make sure to catch it!
On February 15th, Oswego will steer the ship to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to take on King's College in a dual. This dual's time is yet to be determined.
Oswego will then take the ship up the east coast where The College of New Jersey is hosting the Futures Tournament on Sunday, February 25th at 9:00AM.
The NCAA Mideast Regional bouts will take place on the weekend of March 1st and a location is to be determined.
