OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Volleyball team traveled to Plattsburgh State tonight. They battled to four sets, falling to the Cardinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers had a strong start, leading nearly the whole first set, minus one servicepoint, dominating 25-19.
Oswego led in blocks 3-2.
During the second set Plattsburgh took over after rallying back and forth for points, but Oswego was still in the fight. Kills by Grace Taylor and Georgia Farry provided hope as the score lifted 23-20. The set finished with the Lakers down 25-21.
In it for the long haul Oswego kept things close, tying the game six times within the first11 points. Plattsburgh took the set 25-17.
The final set came to an end with a score of 25-18.
Leading the team in kills was Farry with 10, Cara Simplicio had nine and Taylor with eight.
Emily Zeisler had 21 assists and 12 digs for the night. Kaylee Troy led the Lakers with
17 digs.
