POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State Volleyball team traveled to SUNY Potsdam this afternoon. The contest went to five thrilling sets with the Lakers emerging victorious.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers showed dominance over the Bears by being in the lead for the entirety of the first set.
- Potsdam took the lead and held it for the second set 25-12. Oswego was unable to capitalize on big offensive opportunities.
- Oswego had a bit of a slow start to the third set and steadily worked their way up the scoreboard to meet Potsdam at 21-21. The Bears grabbed the last four points to take the set.
- Knowing they needed to take the fourth set to keep the game going, the Lakers came back ready to battle. They bested the Bears 25-18 and in kills 14-10.
- With the score tied five times in the fifth set, two kills by Cara Simplicio and attack errors from Potsdam boosted Oswego to the win 15-10.
- Leading the team was Farry with 19 kills, Kaylee Troy with 19 digs and Simplicio with four aces.
- Nyah Dias had a season high with assists contributing 31 to the game.
- The Lakers have won their past four games against SUNY Potsdam.
