OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Lakers Women's Hockey team hosted Buffalo State on Saturday afternoon in a SUNYAC matchup and a full team effort saw the Lakers win in commanding fashion, by a score of 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After being held scoreless in Cortland on Friday evening, the Lakers had no issues finding the scoresheet in the first period on Saturday.
- Oswego's potent first period offense would see them take a massive 7-0 lead at the end of the first period, with goals by 6 different Lakers.
- The 2nd period would end up being much more evenly played as the Lakers offense was held in check while only being able to manage 9 shots on target.
- The Lakers would manage to add two more tallies in the third period to ultimately win by a score of 9-0.
- Kensie Malone would lead the Lakers scoring 3 times for a hattrick while Mack Hull, Erika Parenti, Ashlyn McGrath, and Lizzie Burke all contributed a goal and an assist.
- In goal, Hannah Skavnak stopped all 23 attempts against her, earning her first collegiate shutout.
