OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Wrestling team hosted their first dual meet of the season on Sunday against #23 Lycoming College. Despite a strong effort, the Lakers would fall just short, losing by a team score of 19-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• In a tightly contested dual that saw points traded back and forth throughout the afternoon, the Lakers would fall just short against the visiting Warriors.
• Oswego would pick up wins from Michael Santore (133 lbs), Landen Smith (157 lbs), Charlie Grygas (174 lbs), Bryce Smith (184 lbs), and Dustin Koskinen-Falls (285 lbs).
• A pair of early matches went to Sudden Victory with Lycoming pulling out the wins in both for the margin of victory.

WHAT'S NEXT 

The Lakers return home after the holiday break for another Sunday afternoon showdown with Ithaca College on January 7^th.
