OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams had their first home meet of the season today against SUNY Brockport. The men's team had a close meet that resulted in a tie while the women fell short.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the first event of the day, Matthew Dambra, Zachary Brown, Lucas McGary, and Vincent Mullen took the win in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:40.03. Taking second place was the team of Duncan Smith, Nathan Ratta Vine, Van Wilton, and Ryan Murphy with a time of
• 1:46.11.
• Isabelle Dague placed first in the 1000 Freestyle finishing in 11:37.19.
• Dambra swept the sprint freestyle events for the meet. He finished the 200 Freestyle in 1:49.75, beating the second place finisher by .2, the 50 Freestyle in 22.59, and the 100 Freestyle in 50.41.
• Taking the 100 and 200 Backstroke was Brown with times of 55.69 and 2:05.19.
• Ratta Vine claimed the 100 and 200 Breaststroke finishing with times of 1:03.81 and 2:27.38.
• Abigail Hinman took the 200 Butterfly in 2:35.47.
• The last event of the night was the 200 Freestyle Relay. The team of Jayna Laferriere, McKenna Briggs, Aurora Jarvie, and Alexia Lemus took first place with a time of 1:45.84.

After the New Year, the Oswego State Swimming and Diving teams will travel to SUNY Cortland on January 17th to take on the Red Dragons with a start time of 4:00 PM.
