BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Basketball team fell to the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first quarter was low-scoring, with Oswego leading after the first ten minutes, 7-5. Sydney Hoefs hit a three pointer in the quarter.

Hoefs hit another three-point shot in the second quarter, as did Chastin Giles. The Golden Eagles made a small run in the last few minutes of the quarter to keep the game close, but the Lakers hit a few shots to keep some breathing space. The second quarter was still low-scoring, with the score being 19-16 at the half. Julia Logana and Hoefs ended the first half with six points.

Giavanna White-Principio hit a three midway through the third quarter, which was back and forth. Oswego earned a little more breathing space during the third, outscoring Brockport 14-10.

The fourth quarter was entertaining, with Brockport's Anna Lee and Oswego's Shania Iglesias scoring back and forth. Brockport tied the score and the game went to overtime, 41-41.

Brockport hit a few more shots than Oswego in overtime, and sealed the win 53-49.
