Oswego Wrestling Falls by Small Margin To Red Dragons

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State Wrestling team battled the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons Wednesday night, narrowly missing out on the victory.

In the 125 pound weight class, John Vicario faced Danny Poggi and was defeated by fall in 2:06.
In the 133 pound weight class, Michael Santore faced Anthony Romero and had a 5-3 victory via decision.
In the 141 pound weight class, Kaleb Carreon had a 9-7 decision loss against Michael Blando.
In the 149 pound weight class, Tyler Rossini defeated Greg Brach by a tech fall.
In the 157 pound weight class, Logan McGloine defeated Max Yahre in sudden victory.
In the 165 pound weight class, Steven Felice had a fall loss to Ryan Meisner at 1:09.
In the 174 pound weight class, Charlie Grygas defeated Kenny Sauer by a 15-7 major decision.
In the 184 pound weight class, Bryce Smith had a 7-3 decision loss to Jack Ryan.
In the 197 pound weight class Anthony Cascen faced Noah Kennedy and came away with a 5-2 decision win.
In the 285 pound weight class, Anthony Vasquez had a 6-0 decision loss to Jake Pine.
In terms of exhibition matches, Oswego's Kian Pacheco had the only Oswego victory, a pinning of Brandon Cirincione in 2:52.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Lakers will return home on Saturday, February 11 to face SUNY Cortland. The Lakers will recognize their senior class on Saturday for senior day.
