UTICA, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Utica to take on the Pioneers this afternoon. The men were able to get the win on the road following an explosive second half of offense. There were five different Lakers who recorded goals this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Pioneers recorded the first goal of the match, with less than four minutes left in the first quarter.

Oswego was able to tie the match with a minute left in the first, with a goal scored by Corey O'Connor, assisted by Jack Delany.

It wasn't until the midpoint of the second quarter when the Lakers would take the lead over the Pioneers. Trey Jones scored the lone goal of the second quarter, as the Lakers held Utica scoreless in the second. They would take a 2-1 lead going into halftime.

The Lakers held Utica scoreless in the third, while adding three more goals, giving them a four point lead going into the fourth. Scoring in the third for Oswego was Connor Aspinal, Trey Jones, and Jack Delany.

Utica scored their second goal of the evening two and a half minutes into the final quarter, trailing 5-2.

Jack Delany found Max Brodman to get their sixth goal of the evening with 11:55 remaining in the final quarter.

The Pioneers recorded their final goal just 20 seconds later, with Oswego adding two more goals before the end of regulation.

Scoring the final two goals for Oswego, both while up a man were Max Brodman, and Corey O'Connor.

The Lakers defeated the Pioneers by a score of 8-3 on their own turf.

Aiden Kenyon recorded ten saves in goal this evening.
WHAT'S NEXT
The men will travel to Brockport on Saturday, March 25th to take on the Golden Eagles. The match is set to begin at 3pm.
