OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego State women's tennis team took on the Saxons of Alfred University this afternoon. After hard fought doubles matches, the Lakers went into singles play down 3-0. Oswego picked up three singles wins of the six.

There were a total of nine matches played this afternoon.

In doubles, the Lakers fell in all three matches, but did not give up going into singles.

Kate Salamida, took second singles with a line score of 6-4, 3-6 and 12-10 in the tie breaking set.

Alyx Sperling took third singles with a 6-1 and 6-0 decision.

Emily Lussier also took her singles match that went to a tie-breaking set winning 6-4, falling 6-4 and winning the tie breaking set 10-2!

The Lakers will take on SUNY Brockport on September 8th in Brockport at 4PM.
