KEUKA, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Soccer team pulled one over on Keuka College Wolves with a final score of one to zero. The Lakers offensive strategy had the Wolves running back to the den.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half was one sided, with Keuka doing what they could to keep the Lakers at bay.

Due to playing defense the entire first half, the Wolves had limited offensive action managing only one shot in the half.

The Lakers remained at the top of their offensive game with 11 shots in the second half but the Wolves awoke and materialized an offense with six shots as well.

As the game waged on, it was clear the contest was one sided. Oswego continued to hold the ball in their offensive end but were unable to connect.

Despite the Wolves gaining momentum for a short stint, it was just not enough as the Lakers scored a goal at 73:16 by the Lakers' Katie Delgrosso assisted by Brianna Winkler steering the Lakers towards victory.

With the clock entering the final minute of play, the Lakers took a win and were able to deny the Wolves.

The Lakers move on to the second stage of their three part voyage that continues until September 27th. SUNYAC play will start on September 23rd against the Potsdam Bears at 1:00PM.
