GENESEO, N.Y.  –  The Oswego State Women's Tennis team fell to Geneseo this afternoon by a score of 6-3. The Lakers were swept in doubles and took three singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Emily Lussier and Cara Campanie fell in first doubles by a score of 8-0.

• Emily Lyga and Kathryn Salamida were defeated in second doubles 8-6. 

• Alyx Sperling and Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou fell in third doubles by a score of 8-3.  

• Campine fell in first singles 6-0 and 6-0. 

• Lyga was defeated in second singles 6-4 and 6-0. 

• Salamida was victorious in third singles 6-2, lost the second set 6-1 and won the tie-breaking set 10-8.

• Alyx Sperling won fourth singles 6-3 and 6-3. 

• Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou took fifth singles 6-2 and 6-2. 

• Lussier fell in sixth singles 6-1 and 6-1, resulting in a 6-3 victory for the Knights.
