NEW PALTZ, NY - #10 SUNY Oswego men's basketball (12-1) took on the New Paltz Hawks (10-2) in a match up between the top two teams in the SUNYAC Tuesday night. Oswego continued their undefeated streak in the SUNYAC with a 92-70 road victory over the Hawks.

The Lakers started this one down twelve to six after missed shots and turnovers. It took until there was only 7 minutes remaining in the first half for Oswego to tie the game up at twenty-three off a made layup from Caleb Cook. In the final two minutes of the half, Oswego was able to build a lead on made shots from Ahkee Anderson and Sean Edwards to take a 41-35 lead into the break. Anderson led the Lakers with twenty-one first half points. In the second half he continued his offensive outburst with a made jumper followed by an and-one on the very next possession. This helped the Lakers start the half on a twenty to eight run. The Oswego lead ballooned to twenty points with 10 minutes remaining in the half thanks to thirty-one points coming off the Laker bench. The Lakers shot well above their average of 35% from three at a scorching 46%. Ahkee Anderson led all scorers with thirty-five points and shooting four of six from behind the arch. Caleb Cook also shot four for five from three-point land.

Up next, Oswego will head to Buffalo State on Friday looking to continue their conference win streak.
